Thanks for visiting our team's new website!

For those of you that don't know me very well, I thought you might like to know some history leading up to the
present times.

Before I started racing, I helped Joren Boyce a little working on his modified.  We became very good friends,  I
talked to him about racing a car a lot.

When I finally decided that I was going to buy a car and start racing,
I went and talked to Joren.  I told him that I really wanted to race,
but my mother wasn’t so sure about the idea.

Joren came over to the house and talked to my mom many times
for hours.  He finally convinced her how safe racing actually was.

The year I graduated from High School in 2000 I bought my first
racecar.  My first year was a fun one.  I didn’t know much, but I
sure learned a lot.

                                                      2001 I bought a used
                                                      stock car from Mark
                                                      Dahl.  That year worked
out pretty well.  I won a total of 11 features and won my first track
championship at The Geographical Center Speedway in Rugby, ND.
I also went to Boone, IA for the IMCA Super Nationals and ended up
getting 3rd in the Race of Champions.

2002 was also a good year I won 2 track championships,
Estevan Motor Speedway and Williston Basin Speedway.
Runner up at the North Dakota Governor's Cup and was the
Motor Magic Champion at Nodak Speedway.  We had a total
of 19 feature wins.

The 2003 was an up and down year, we started out the year
having some trouble with the car.  We started figuring it out
towards the middle of the season.  We went to Boone, IA
and won our qualifying feature and made the big show. I
started second row in the middle, but ended upside down
                                                                    half way through the race.

The next winter we did a lot of research, trying to find an edge
to help us and learn more.  I went to Ames, IA and met the
people from Wayne Larson Racing Specialists.

From the first time I met Wayne, Darin and Adam and everyone
from WLRS, I knew what I wanted to do, so we jumped on board
with WLRS.  Even though I was young and had a lot to learn,
they were great to work with.  I bought my first Larson stock
car chassis and never looked back.

With the help of the great people at WLRS I had my best year
ever in 2004.  We finished off the year with  a career best of
19 feature wins, 3 track championships, North Dakota State
Championship, and runner up at the IMCA Super Nationals.

2005 was a rocky season to say the least.  After doing so well in
the 2004 season,  the whole Wyatt Olson Racing team were
                                                         pumped up for 2005.

Our 2005 season started off a little slow,  it just seemed like
we                                                                   couldn’t do anything right. Towards the beginning of the season
I                                                                       rolled are new car and completely demolished it.  We spent
all                                                                    week working to get are backup car ready for the next
weekend.
Just when we thought everything was going to alright, I ended
up                                                                    rolling the backup car the following weekend at the same track.

I have to thank all of my team and sponsors, everyone pulled
together and we fixed both cars and finished out the season
and pulled off a track championship at the Geographical
                                                         Center Speedway and 6 features.

Special thanks to my team and sponsors, as well as my parents and girlfriend Ann. They have helped me over
the past 6 years - through both the good and the bad.  I couldn’t have done it without each and everyone of
them.  I has been a lot of fun.

Speaking of Ann, here's a picture of her recent graduation from Iowa State University in May of 2007. Shown
here with Ann and I are my parents, Ole and Claudia.

Thanks again for stopping by my online home & I look forward to seeing you around the tracks!
